ASEC Athletic Club [2025]

  • Arawa Secondary School competed in the inaugural NCD–Central Athletics Championships in Port Moresby and Goroka (NSI), winning both the 1,500m and 3,000m events and bringing 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals. A total of 5 medals.

Student Code of Conduct

Building character through respect, responsibility, and integrity

Academic Standards

  • Regular attendance and punctuality are mandatory
  • Complete all assignments and homework on time
  • Maintain academic honesty and integrity
  • Participate actively in class discussions
  • Seek help when needed from teachers

Behavioral Expectations

  • Respect all students, teachers, and staff
  • Follow proper school uniform guidelines
  • Use appropriate language at all times
  • Keep school property and environment clean
  • Report any incidents to school authorities

Uniform Policy

  • Navy blue shirt with school logo
  • Grey trousers/skirt (appropriate length)
  • School shoes (black) with white socks
  • Shirt to be worn properly
  • Hair must be neat and tidy

Disciplinary Process

  • First offense: Verbal warning and counseling
  • Second offense: Written warning to parents
  • Third offense: Parent-teacher conference required
  • Serious offenses: Immediate suspension
  • Appeal process available through administration
